About Us

Pristine Childrens High School C.B.S.E. affiliated school, which was founded on 1st June, 1975 with theprime aim of imparting a comprehensive modern education to the children of Muzaffarpur, Bihar & its surrounding localities. The school was initially started up to primary section and slowly upgraded. It secured affiliation to C.B.S.E. up to secondary level at present.

Apart from providing quality education, the school believes in value system, the value that elders instil in youngsters as practised in the ancient time in gurukula system. Thus the environment in Pristine Childrens High School is conductive to bring out the best in a child. Good marks is not the yard stick to measure progress by, instead the student should be self reliant, sensitive, responsible and self confident which is bound to help later in life. Our endeavor is to make the entire process of learning so interesting that the children fall in love with the school.

The House System

The entire school is divided into four houses. Each house has a house master. It is compusory for every students of th eschool to be member of a house. The main aim is to inculcate the qualities of leadership, co-operation,  mutual understanding & self reliance. Different types of activities are organised under the house system such as debate, group songs, group discussion, dramatics, dance etc. Besides the students are trained in sommunity servie & social work.

Aims & Objectives

 

  • To impart quality education to children
  • To inculcate ethical & spriritual values among the students so as to groom them to become generous human beings
  • To develop all round personality of the students & instil in them fine traits of character like: honesty, courage, politeness initiative, resourcefulness, respect for elders & love to youngers as well as social responsibility
  • To extend all possible assistance to the young learners so as to make them intellectually competent, practically skilled, morally sound and psychologically whole. It primarily prepares the students for admission to various renowned educational institutions throughout the country and in some cases abroad also. It aims at developing the entire child mind, body and soul and intellectual faculties. Special attention is paid to all the students individually in order to solve the problems with which they are badly confronted.

Scheme of Examination & Norms for Promotion

PCHS is committed to its prime aim of developing the child as a whole in a healthy & congenial environment. With our mind set on this goal the examination system has been so framed to reduce the resultant awe in the mind of the child & to uphold the spirit of competition in order to facilitate their regular & smooth progress.

Classes Nursery To Preparatory

Three unit tests will be conducted i an academic year weightage is also given to the class test & home work. The students must appreciate the importance of regularity in acadimic work during the entire session due weightage is also given to the students activities. The childs punctuality, regularity, neatness in uniform, his/her general behaviour and conversation is also taken into account while assessing. Promotion to the next class will entirely depend upon the cumulative reuslt of all the units tests including annual examination. Students will be required to score minimum 40% marks in each subject, failing in two or more subjects or one compulsory subject will render a student unfit for promotion to the next class. We declare the result at the end of the academic session are final & cannot be reconsidered.

Classes Std. I To Std. X

For classes Std.-1 onwards the session will be divided into two terms half yearly & annual examination equal wieghtage will be given to all the terms, class tests will be conducted by the teachers at regular intervals & 20% weightage will be given to class tests, home work etc. Promotion to the next class will be on the basis of overall performance & cumulative result of all the terms.

  • A student failing in one compulsory subjects will not be considered eligible for promotion fo the next class.
  • Absence from the tests in one or more subjects involves loss of marks in these subjects and also debars the students from prizes & other awards.
  • Students absent from an examination will not be re-examined.
  • Students from Std.-1 onwards will have to score minimumn 40% marks in each subject to qualify for promotion to next class.

Health Education

The health is supervised by a well-qualified and experienced Doctor. At the beginning of each term, each child has to undergo.

Creative Activites

The school has made arrangements for various kinds of activities & programs for over all developments of the personality of the child. In order to bring out the talents of the children, special activity periods have been introduced. The students perform activites like clay modelling, Painting, Art & Craft, Vocal Music, Instrument Music apart from community service & social work. This school is always ahead in participating in cultural, literacy & other similar activities both at city & state level.

Games & Stports

The school gives, prime importance to physical fitness & sport activities in order to bring about a co-ordiantion between body & mind. The school provides opportunity for various games which includes both indoor & outdoor games.

Computer Education

To keep pace with the fast changing world in the field of science & information technology and to prepare the students for new millennum computer science has been introduced as an elective subject from class IV onwards.

Today is the age of computer. It is a well known fact that computer is essential in every field. Compulsory training in computer application is imparted to students right from class I This knowledge of computer will always keep them a step ahead of their fellow competitors.

Celeberation

Apart from educational our school develops awareness values and confidence and nationalism through various celebrations like Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Children s Day and Teachers Day.

Educational Activity

Learning by doing is our motto. We organize verious activities like mental quiz, memory games, debates, painting competitions, essay competition.

Extra Curricular Activity

Wushu, Judo Karate, Swimming, Fine arts, painting, Music are the special features of our school. It develops self confidence and leadership qualities in students.
