The teacher has always been looked upon as a friend philosopher and guide to the student. In today's context education pertains not only to to imparting knowledge but also adapting to ad-hoc changes. Today students are so well informed and equipped with the best technology that teachers need to be trained to understand the needs and adopt modern ways of communicating the knowledge they have to children. While striving to retain our value system,we believe in creating teachers who can be a role mode to the students. At (Swami Vivekananda Teachers Training College) we believe that teaching is not just a noble profession but one that demands immense finese and aptitude. To understand that each child is different and equally important is a challenge indeed for every teacher. Meeting this challenge upfront is our education psychology.
