PROFILE OF COLLEGE
The college is situated on Hirak Road at paharpur, baliapur,12 Kms from Dhanbad railway station. The college is spread over 0.74 acres of land. The college is situated in a totally pollution free area away from mining industry and hustle and bustle of heavy traffic and population.The panoramic view and lush green field all around makes the campus an elegant place for teaching and learning process.

MISSION
Inspired by the perennial response to the age old aspiration of the rishis of our Arsha Bharata expressed in upanishadic prayer “TamasomaJyotirgamay”.

The college aims at producing teachers who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, mentally upright, psychologically integrated , physically, healthy and socially responsible individual who are open to grow and champion the cause of justice, love, truth and peace.

OBJECTIVES OF B.ED. PROGRAMME
To enable the student teacher to:-
* Develop contextual competency by providing basic knowledge about Educational philosophy, Educational sociology, Educational Psychology and School Managemnent.
* Get acquainted with other special fields.
* Develop conceptual competency with respect to school subjects.
* Apply theory to Educational transaction.
* Master the skill involved in effective teaching.
* Develop society oriented transactional competency.
* Develop professional attitude towards teaching.

Parjanya B.Ed. college is a noble venture established in the year 2009. The temple of learning will provide a true platform to the budding teachers and the discipline of Education. Being a student teacher in the teaching programme is about exploring one’s talents, ambitions, and creativity experimenting with one’s capabilities and dabbling in the joy of realizing one’s potential believing in the idea of holistic education and to produce a true confluence of “Theory&praxis”, college shall organize various talks , visits, seminar’s discussions, workshops and other interactive sessions for the students . College strive for developing on all round personality in all the students. It will also facilitate positive thinking and courage of conviction in the young mind specially women to enable them to take on the different challenges of the modem world.
