Welcome to Government Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital Godda

The Government Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital Paraspani, Godda has been established vide Notification No. 60(3) dated 31.03.2002 by the Department of Health, Education & Family Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand. It is the single Government Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital in Jharkhand, that has been established by the State Government as per norms of the Central Council of Homeopathy, New Delhi. The Government of Jharkhand is in the acquired 18(Eighteen acres of Land) at Paraspani, which is about 20 Km. from the Godda town for College and hospital buildings.

The Foundation stone of the College building was laid by the First Honorable Chief 'Minister of State Shri Babu Lal Marandi on 23rd September' 2002. The College was inaugurated on 28th Feb. 2004 by Shri Arjun Munda, honorable Chief Minister Government of Jharkhand. At the Inaugural ceremony Shri Dilip Prasad Chairman, J.P.S.C., Shri Bahura Ekka, vice Chancellor of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh Dr. Ramjee Singh, vice President, Central Council of Homeopathy, New Delhi, Honorable Education Minister Shri P.N Singh, Shri Gopal Prasad Singh, Members J.P.S.C. Dr. Amreshwar Prasad, Founder Principal of Govt. Homeopathic Medical College And Hospital, Godda Ex. M.P. Shri Pradeep Yadav and other dignitaries of the State & District were Present.

The College is recognized by CCH Government of India vide latter No.- F.No.R12014/04/2007-EP, Dated 26/02/2009, 2009-2010 on wards & Ministry of AYUSH Later No.- R-17014/53/2013-EP(H) dated- 08-10-2016.

The College is affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh Session- 2009-2010 on wards vide Letter No- 1592 Dt.- 23/12/2010
