Welcome to Ramgovind Institute of Technology Kodarma

Ramgovind Institute of Technology is established under the banner of RGBM Development Society and Govt. of Jharkhand under special initiative to promote technical education. The Institute is being developed under the able guidance of experienced Technocrats, Engineers and Academicians from parts of the country and the world. RIT is situated in Jhumri Tilaiya, 7 km. from Koderma Railway Station on Patna-Ranchi Highway.

The institute has received the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Affiliation has been granted by the Vinoba Bhave University for the award of Engineering Degree. The courses that are being offered by the Institute have been selected after acquiring through understanding of the requirements of the Indian as well as global industry today.

The Institute offers the following courses leading to Engineering Degree of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag.Four batches have successfully passed out from the Institute.

The B-Tech course is of 4 years (8 Semester) duration with first year course common to all branches.

The Campus is spread over 57 acre sylvan landscape with plenty of greenery and hills around with a WI-FI campus facility the institute is about 20 km from the Grand Trunk Road and 14 km from Tilaiya Dam. The natural beauty in around the campus makes it a wonderful place to live and learn. Koderma Railway Station is on Grand Chord Line, well connected by all Trains through out India. Nearest international airport is at Gaya (100 km), Patna (160 km) respectively and Ranchi airport being 160 km away. Koderma (Jhumri Tilaiya) is almost midway between Ranchi and Patna, being well connected by road and trains.
