A Little About Us
This college was founded in the year 15 Aug 1969-70 by Late Mahesh Prasad Sahu, in the name of his father Late Lala kashi nath Sahu.
The present institution has got its present shape in the hands of great visionary Sri Shaligram Yadav.
Realizing the needs of the local people of the adjoining area living under poverty line, he turned this institution into full fledged unit with degree affiliation in arts , Science and Commerce with honours teaching. The college became a constituents unit of Ranchi University Ranchi in the year 1980: now of Kolhan University , Chaibasa.
In recent year feeling the demands of students, M.A in History ,Political Science, Economics,& Vocational Courses Like B.C.A B.sc – IT has been started.
The college has been recognized by the U.G.C on 05.08.1981 and college is in receipt of grant for hi-tech B.SC Lab unmatched in this area.
This college enjoys very high reputation for the quality of education imparted here and the high percentage of result.
