Welcome to Loyola School, Jamshedpur Purbi Singhbhum

The academic year 2018 – 2019 is nearing its end and it’s time to reflect on the year gone by. It has been another happy year for all at Loyola.

Last year, Abhishek Agarwal made it to the country toppers’ list in ISC Commerce stream by scoring a whopping 98.25% in the board exams.

Our children continue to bring laurels to the school in various inter school competitions at the local, national and international level.

Our teacher Mrs. Jayanthi Sheshadri bagging the coveted President’s Award was another feather in our cap.

In December the students put up a musical ‘The Kabuliwala – A Multi Lingual Adaptation’ which won the hearts of the citizens of Jamshedpur. The play gave the children an opportunity for experiential learning and cognitive apprenticeship.

We have introduced a school bus service with effect from January 2019. This bus brings students from Parsudih to our school every day. We plan to start services to and from other important points if the response from the parents is good.

Two of our teachers from the Junior section Ms Angela Prasad and Mr Richard Wills will be superannuating this year after having rendered yeomen service for 32 years and 28 years respectively. The school will miss them. We wish them a very happy retired life.

Every year we appeal to the parents about road safety. This year we appeal to you once again. Kindly desist from giving two wheeler to your child and if he/she does use one, please ensure he/she has a valid licence and insist on him/her wearing a helmet.

Our sincere thanks to our Alumni who are helping in traffic control near the main gate during dismissal. Please help us by cooperating with them. Safety of your children is our prime concern.
