A.J.K. College was found is 1980 and was inspired is accordance to the interest of the local people. The college has a majority of poor and labour class. Tribal minorities and backwards. The inhabitants of this locality is deprived of educational benefits. The college has been set up with the main motive of providing higher education and overall development of personality of the students.
Due to the continuous effort of Maa Tara Educational and Welfare Trust, Jamshedpur, the A.J.K college was provided a complete building and land in Asanboni for its smooth running And Kolhan University has also sent an affiliation to the Central government for the year 2013-2016.
