Welcome to Rahat College of Education, Madhupur Deoghar

Rahat college of Education is Located at a serene and calm vicinity in Madhupur, Dist.Deoghar on the border of Jharkhand and West Bengal famous for its invigorating climate. It is a Junction of the Eastern Railway and all trains on the Howrah-Patna main line including Rajdhani Express stops here.
This junction is only 80 kms from Asansol , 60 kms from Chittaranjan and the famous Baidyanath Dham (Deoghar) is just about 50kms from here. The college is situated at the outskirts of Madhupur town , only 3 kms from the railway station. The distance from Kolkata is traversed by train in about 4hrs and from patna it is 5 hrs. Affiliation
The college is working under the affiliation of Siddhu Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka. Besides the State govt of Jharkhand represented by the Secretary, Human Resource Department has also granted NOC to our college for running B.Ed course of two years duration with an annual intake of 100 seats.

Recognition
NCTE ,new Delhi via its regional office at Bhuwaneshwar has granted formal recognition under clause 7(11) of NCTE, Recognition (Norms and recognition procedure) Regulations 2009 to start one year B.Ed course of secondary level from the academic session 2013-14 vide their order.
