R.S.M. Senior Secondary School was established in the year 1974.The purpose was to serve the community in the field of education. The School was started with 3 teachers and 60 students. Since then, with the co-operation of parents, teachers and students the school has made tremendous progress. It has produced brilliant students, with bright outlook and charming personality. The School was affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) Delhi in the year 1995 upto class 10th.

R.S.M. Senior Secondary School, Gorakhpur is an English medium school. Established and governed by the R.B. Society of Gorakhpur, the school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) New Delhi and imparting education up to Class XII.

Education in not the amount of information that is put into your brain and remains there undigested all your life. We must have life building man making character building assemilating fine ideas & making them your life and character, you have more education than any man who has got by heart a whole library.

Keeping in mind the aforesaid thought, RSM Senior Secondary School (Formaly Ram Shishu Mandir School) was established in 1974. In serving the society we have succeded to a greater extent but still we are laying the foundation of future traditions. It is often said that the cheapest from of defence for a nation is to invest in education . But the pace of education is accelerating and even the most perceptine thinkers are unable to predict Confidently where it will lead us in the future.
