Welcome to Vidya Devi Jindal School Mathura

The school is a dream of Late Mr. O.P.Jindal come true, a result of his farsightedness, vision and great sign of service to the society. Prompted by the ardent desire for education, he decided to establish an educational institution in Kosi-Kalan to cater to the needs of the rural population where literacy rate is very law. It is a town situated in BrijBhoomi, 42 kilomitres away from the Holy City Mathura, i.e, the area where Lord Krishna has spent his childhood days.

Vidya Devi Jindal School is a private, recognised non-aided institution founded on 15 April 1989 under Vidya Devi Jindal school welfare Society. It is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and will prepare the students for the CBSE Certificate Examination for Classes X and Class XII.

Understanding the urgency of quality education, Vidya Devi Jindal School welfare society requested for the support of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Agra Education society to take over and administer the Academic functioning of the School from Classes VIth to XIIth. On 1st February 1995 the agreement was established between both the Societies that Primary classes from Nursery to Vth will be conducted in St. Theresa’s School, Kosi-Kalan and passing out from there the students will be absorbed in Vidya Devi Jindal school. Thereafter, the Priests of the Archdiocese of Agra took charge of the School as Principals and began to serve this institution with great dedication.
