S. R. College of Teacher Education was established in 2015 at Regeda, Orai in Distt. Jalaun,The establishment of this esteemed college was a step towards creating excellent educational institutes in this not so developed region which so far has been devoid of such institutes. The college is affiliated to Bundelkhand University, Jhansi UP and has been duly recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college presently offers courses primarily in the stream of humanities like Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).

S.R. College of Teacher Education has been built on a vast piece of land and boasts of a sprawling campus. It is equipped with excellent infrastructure facilities like well equipped laboratories, modern computer centre with internet connection (Wi-Fi) and indoor and outdoor playground.
