Gautam Buddha Mahavidyalaya is running by Dayal Siksha Samiti, Oriyara Chauraha, Hamirpur Road, Kanpur. This is the best degree college in Kanpur South, the reason is that this college is helping to poor, backward, minorities and other caste students those want to get higher education but due to financial problems they are not able to get the higher education. In this scheme the students who score 75% or more in the annual examination conducted (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. and M.A.) by university have a full Fee Waiver (concession) in next session.

It is pleasure to say that our college is running Hindi Literature, English Literature, Sanskrit, Sociology, Education, History and Home Science all these subjects under the Faculty of Arts since 2005 and has been recognized by “Chhatarpati Shahuji Maharaj University Kanpur” and B.Com classes inside the Faculty of Commerce since 2010 and M.A. (Sociology, Education) classes have been running since 2012. The best part of this college is that B.Sc. classes also have been conducted since 2016. Intermediate pass out students and their parents come to the college and aware of the situation as such. Clean environment, airy rooms, laboratory, grand library, highly qualified, hardworking and experienced principal/ teachers (university approved) and office staff are characteristics of our college. The annual examination result of the college has been 94% in the last years which reflects the well thought education of the college and prove that this is the best college. To do college family goal, wish bright future for students at the same time higher education and moral values are the sole resolution of Gautam Buddha Degree College.
