SHANKARANAND MAHAVIDYALAYA, FUFUWAR (RAILWAY STATION SARSAUL), KANPUR NAGAR,
A SELF- FINANCED DEGREE COLLEGE, has been named after Lord Shiva who is always ready to bless his devotees. Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur granted it an affiliation on November 14, 2006 for 360 seats in B.A. Part I. Since then the institution has been running B.A. Part I, B.A. Part II and B.A. Part III Classes successfully in the following seven subjects :

3. HINDI LITERATURE

4. EDUCATION

5. SOCIOLOGY

6. ECONOMICS

7. POLITICAL SCIENCE

Moreover Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur granted it an affiliation on November 14, 2006 for 360 seats in B.Sc. Part I. Since then the institution has been running B.Sc. Part I, and B.Sc. Part II Classes successfully in the following five subjects:(B.Sc. Part III Classes will strats from the next session):

(Besides these optional subjects, the college also runs classes to teach environmental studies. Sstudents are required to clear it in B.A./B.S Part I examination itself.)

Qualified and diligent lecturers under the able leadership of Dr. R.N. Shukla, the Principal of the college, are discharging their duties faithfully for the betterment and all- round development of their curious students. They also maintain strict discipline among them.

It is worthwhile to mention here that the college was set up to cater to the needs of those young girls and boys of this area whose parents could not afford to send their wards, and especially girls, to colleges in the heart of the city. Members on the staff know that
