The Smt. Kripa shukla putti lal mahavidhyalay is located in the Kevlepur part of Kanpur Dehat.After the tragic partition after independence this part of kanpur dehat become a rehabilitation center for the displaced population. The great visionary Mr.J.N.Shukla, with the view of imparting education to the large influx of refugees, laid down the foundation of this college.

The college expended in the graduate facilities in Science subjects and Art subjects, class room and laboratories were constructed to accommodate increasing number of students. At present the college has the status of being one among the biggest and leading institution affiliated with C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur.
