Welcome to Shri Lal Ji Singh Jivan Jyoti Mahavidyalaya Sitapur

Shri Lal Singh Jivan Jyoti Mahavidyalaya, Sitapur more popularly known as a premier institution of higher learning in rather backward district of Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh.
The college was founded in 2012. This was the first institution of higher learning in the district and before it came into being, the students were forced to move to other places in pursuit of higher education.
Initially the college was affiliated to CSJM University, Kanpur. Since then it has been a forward journey. At present the college is permanently affiliated to CSJM University, Kanpur in Arts, Commerce, Science and B. Ed .Faculties. It is also recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for teacher education.
