"Baiswara" is a well-known region, in the field of literature as well as in the field of bravery. Immortal Martyr Late King of Baisawara Raja Rao Ram Baksh Singh fought with the English Army and stories of his bravery is well saluted in the region. The long pending demand of a higher educational institute and also to enrich the literature in the region, the Raja Rao Ram Baksh Singh Shiksha Prasar samiti Rai Baeilly decided to start a "Shiksha Yagya" named as Babu Jai Shankar Gaya Prasad Mahavidyalaya Sumerpur Unnao. The foundation stone of the institution was led by a renowned youth educationist Shree Dal Bahadur Singh inspired by his nearest, youth & hardworking friend Shree Dinesh Singh "BABA". Smt. Sheel Bajpai also blessed the institution by donation Dharmshala & local land around it.
