Buddhist Educational Institute Mahila Maha Vidyalya, Gorakhpur in the holy land of Guru Gorakhnath, located in Purvanchal was established by Devadhari Upadhyay (Bhikshu Buddha Mitra) in 2004.

The aim of this institution is to promote conserve and encourage girls education in art, science, home science and literature languages.

Since the beginning, this college is continuously working for the all round development of girl students. Co-curricular activities and cultural programs are run in regular form for the spiritual and intellectual development of girl students.

The college is fully active for the promotion of Buddha culture and the goal of girl education and multifaceted development which was set at the time of the establishment of this college.
