A Little About Us
The Patna Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Patna was established on the 19th July, 1961 by Dr. Gauri Lall Yadav, Dr. Ambika Prasad And Dr. S.C. Roy, The College gained recognition on 28th July, 1962 by the Bihar State Borad of Homoeopathic Medicine Patna and in 1973 it was transferred to the Bihar University (now called B.R.A. Bihar University) Muzaffarpur bye the notification of the Government of Bihar, Patna. The College is managed by Shree Krishna Siksha Pratisthan, Patna.
At present the college is imparting 5 1/2 (Five & Half) years B.H.M.S. (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery) Degree course including one year of compulsory internship.
The college is running in a spacious building at Ram Krishna Nagar, Sorangpur, Patna – 20 , having facilities of an out-door dispensary, 50 bedded hospital, well equipped Library, Laboratories for Pharmacy, Anatomy, Physiology, F.M.T., P.S.M. And Pathology. Museum with Anatomical and Physiological Charts, Models, Bone-Sets, Dummies etc. There is a separate dissection-room.
In Indoor Hospital with surgical, general maternity and paediatrics ward having 50 beds is attached to the college.
The College has also run 5 peripheral clinics at different places in the capital.
The College also arranged Medical Relief Camp in rural Masses.
There is a provision for scholarship and free studentship to meritorious and needy students.
The College is managed by dully constituted Governing Body.
