MAHARAJ MAHESH THAKUR MITHILA COLLEGE (M.M.T.M college), Darbhanga is one of the best co-educational college for Study in Science, Commerce & Arts stream.
This college is affiliated with Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga and recognized by University Grants Commission, New Delhi under section 2(f) and 12(B) of the U.G.C Act, 1956.
The college is situated in urban area of Darbhanga which is the heart of Mithila and was established on January 26, 1980 by Dr Baidyanath Choudhary a man of great vision, the founder secretary of the college.
The college has more than 100 lecturers most of them have Ph.D. degree. Many teachers have ability to produce Ph. D Degrees and published Research paper, Books and Articles.
The teachers participated in seminars and present their papers on subjects of importance. Faculty Development Programmes are regularly held by the college to keep the teachers updated with the latest developments in the various domains.
This college has an excellent ambience for all round development of the student by giving them access to a wide range of academic, extracurricular and sports avenues. The college encourages students to participate in games and sports, conducts seminars and is actively associated with NSS.
The college has spacious class-rooms and a well designed and impressive conference room for students interactive session like discussions , guest lectures , seminars etc. College has also good library, laboratory and computer lab.
