Deo Sundari Memorial College was Established in 22nd-July- 1965 in Jhahaa, Jamui. The College was a constituent unit of T.M.Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur. Now, it is a constituent unit of Munger University from 18th-March-2018.The College is situated in Jamui district of Bihar State in India. The college campus acquires 0.35 acres(approx) of land in lush green surrounding ideal for learning and teaching.img The College also has one research centers. The courses offered by the university are approved from University Grants Commission ( UGC ) of India and other regulatory bodies .
.The College has a Principal who is helped by College Faculty, Third grade employee, fourth grade employee, and other University members in a spacious large building. There are 12 Departments of the College in Science & Arts, .
The primary goals of DSM College are as follows: To make sure that higher education facilities are available to the economically and educationally disadvantaged sections of the Jalah block, consisting mainly of the ST and OBC. To facilitate the empowerment of women through higher education; To make extension and awareness programs part of the regular curricular activities.
