Welcome to B. R. Mahila College, Munger Munger

One of the premier institution of women’s education of Munger division in Bihar. B.R. Mahila College has been assiduously shaping the socio-academic needs of women of this area (rural as well as urban) right from its day of foundation in 1958.

This region is situated on the southern bank of “Holi river Ganga”. 3.69 KM long Munger Ganga Bridge links Munger with Northern part of Bihar and North-East states with vast scope of trade & communication. During the freedom struggle, Munger had its own share of sacrifice both in walter of wealth as precious as life established since the days of the British rule, Munger has industries like I.T.C., Jamalpur Railway Workshop, Gun Factory, etc of high standard.

The college is imparting education in various Hons. Level courses. It is needful to mention that the college runs B.C.A. vocational course on self-finance mode. The college has produced many Scholars, professors, Economist Doctors, Engineers, and technical Experts. Our H.O.D. Economics Dr. Prakash Kumar, has been nominated to represent Munger in pre-budget discussion on Bihar State Budget of the Years 2017-18 as Economist.

The college has been established in 1958, with some of the departments of Arts, Later on Science teaching was started with the precessions of State Govt. w.e.f. 1980 onwards. Under three years degree course the Hons. Teaching is almost 15 subjects are being imparted in the college. At present the college has six teaching halls, one smart class room, one playground.

It is alveolus that teaching has two aspects both Science & Arts in this college. The knowledge of truth of the subject is a part of Science and its presentation, manifestation in teaching is an art. As understanding of teaching giving a good environment confined to class rooms as well as outside. The teachers of this college adhere to the following factors during teaching.
